Baby Slings:
These are one of the few baby items we carry, & one of our best selling items. Please take the time to consider a sling for you and your baby. I continually add more information, details, directions, & even video (see "Instructions for Use" tab above). Hopefully these pics & videos will help you better decide if baby-wearing is for you, and what style will best fit your needs.
Check out the many happy babies and mommas/daddys here. All of these slings were purchased, (with free hands-on lesson included), from All Things Maternity.

Below is a Super Happy Military Daddy! He said, "I'm only home for a little while and I want to hold him close as much as possible before I have to leave again." This mai tai sling obviously fit the bill perfectly! His baby is only 8 days old here. Normally I wouldn't recommend this style for tiny babies, but more and more parents like it for holding the tiny one resting against them. So I modified the mai tai and added "loops" to the sides to run the ties thru. This gives more security to the open sides and makes me feel better about the ties staying where they need to be for surer safety. You just have to be extremely aware of your baby's face at all times, making sure they have their little face turned to the side and not smashed into your chest. For obvious reasons! Especially moms, since your boobs will be a factor. =)  Carrying baby a little higher on your chest, above the heavy "boob line", usually fixes that problem. When they get a little older, you will loosen the straps just a bit and they are able to lay back away from your body and look into your face. (see pic, third row to the right, striped brown mai tai.)
Below are pouch slings. A little quicker to put on, a little easier to use.

Baby above is one month old.
This is my friend in Mexico. This sling was my gift for her. Her baby is about 18 months old here.
This little doll is three months old.

No doubt this is a baby boy, right?

This is Jennifer with her baby, as a newborn to 2 mos I believe. Yes, he is a big boy. He started out right at 9 lbs...5 weeks early! This shows you several ways to carry with this sling. And in a couple of months, we will probably see a picture of him sitting up in it.

Sure enough, one month later, here he is enjoying the Jenks aquarium with mom.

MAI TAI SLING  (prounounced may-tie)

This is a Mai Tai Sling. Not usually for use with preemies or newborns. Doesn't work well with a doll either, but haven't had time to take pics with my little Mila model yet. =)

Normally, these ties would not cross a baby's legs like this, but my doll wouldn't cooperate (she has no booty to wrap under), so I had to modify her tie.  The

pieces that come under a real baby's legs are padded for comfort. This is the purple you can see wrapped around the mannequin's waist.

The straps over mom's shoulders are padded for comfort also.

The little boy below is so darn cute, I have him posted everywhere! He just couldn't stop smiling! Momma sent me a note with this pic, saying they used the sling that day & baby just loves it!

Another pic of my niece, Mila. She doesn't look like a little "ginnie-pig", does she? But most of my creations get modeled and/or tried out on her first. She has been a wonderful, patient little helper!

And then, Kamila, showing how to sit up in her sling, at 2 1/2 mo. old.

Another comfy baby. She is 2 months old.

Another Mai Tai sling. Notice this baby's legs are tucked inside against his body and he's snuggled against mom's chest. I believe she said he is 6-7 wks old here.

This is me holding Kamila in a Mai Tai, facing forward, which is her carry of choice now! She is sitting cross-legged on her tush, slightly leaned back against me. She is 3 months old here. As she gets bigger, we will hang a leg out each side. =) This is the same sling pictured on the mannequin with my doll in it.

Another very popular print this year. This baby girl got to make her first State Fair visit riding right here.

Even Daddy was willing to wear her!
